About Miss Jensen
Welcome to Fifth Grade at General Stewart Elementary!
Hello! My name is Lisa Jensen and I am honoured to teach 5th Grade at General Stewart Elementary. I enjoy teaching students (especially reading and writing skills) to enable them to become successful classroom learners.
My Personal Goals For The Students I Teach:
* I hope for students to develop a true love for reading!
* I hope for students to become a community of learners who help and care about each other!
* I hope to encourage students to love and appreciate making beautiful art!
A Little About Miss Jensen
I grew up in the small town of Claresholm.
I am the daughter of a teacher (my mom taught Grade 1 for 42 years!)
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and my Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Lethbridge.
I also completed my Master's Degree in Education from Gonzaga University...Go Zags!
I have a toy poodle, named Lola.
I love to travel (only to warm places) and am an avid reader!
I am looking forward to a wonderful year together!
